Geek.kon is coming; I will probably be somehow be vaguely involved with the Steampunk Fashion Exposition, and the Steam Century Mystery will run from Saturday-Sunday. Yay, another weekend when I will not actually have any time to get things done. In the meantime, I'm buried under schoolwork, trying to keep up, and super run down.

OH- for Halloween, should I go with obscure literary reference or zombified obscure literary reference? My sewing machine's injury and fate have conspired such that these are my only two options.

Well, I've plugged this almost everywhere else. This upcoming Saturday, at the Inferno in Madison, WI, there will be a fantastically awesome steampunk show/game/event thing. This most underwhelming of days is my birthday. My 22nd on the 2nd of October, and only 2 days ago, I found a white hair growing from my scalp. I fully intend to submit more deviations very, very soon.

I can't find the cable that connects my camera to my computer, so if you could just *imagine* that I've uploaded a couple of really awesome pictures of stuff, that would be awesome. I've almost completely settled into my new apartment, but I really need to clean/reorganize fabric and craft stuff so that I can find things again. This journal is wholly uninteresting, so I'll mention the fact that there have been LOTS of firetrucks going down my street in the past couple of weeks. Squirrel! I also intend to go to kickboxing classes starting soon. Really soon. Honest, just as soon as I get checks so I can be sure that I will be able to pay for lessons, I will register.

Can you tell I'm really tired writing this? I have an east-facing window that forces me to wake up early, and it's throwing of my night-owlness.

Really, my mood improved a few days after I posted my last journal, not that improving from paranoid is much to brag about. I even started thinking about getting a twitter account. Then I moved into my new apartment, where there is no wireless internet at all whatsoever. None. I've been making a ten minute walk to campus libraries for the free wi-fi there. This isn't horrible, but it is definitely annoying.
